Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with a leading bus operator? Join our engineering team in Huddersfield and play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
We’re looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to carry out electrical diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on a modern fleet of buses. If you’re committed to high standards and enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on buses and coaches
- Working with CAN-bus systems, multiplex wiring, and electronic components
- Carrying out routine maintenance, modifications, and upgrades
- Supporting the wider engineering team with fault-finding and repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (bus, HGV, or PSV experience preferred)
- Relevant electrical or automotive qualifications (Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and wiring diagrams
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- A full UK driving licence (PCV licence is advantageous, but not essential)
