WHAT TO EXPECT
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest Passenger Service Vehicle Providers and be part of a team who are a major asset to their community.
As an experienced Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Lead / Engineering Foreman you will be the first line of contact for you team of PSV Engineers. Making sure that maintenance and repair of the varied fleet of 40 vehicles is carried out to the highest of standards, so members of the community can enjoy safe travel to work, shopping and leisure, healthcare or to see family and friends.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of the Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Lead / Engineering Foreman:
- Routine servicing, repair and maintenance of the PSV Fleet to highest DVSA standards
- Delegate work and task to the Engineering Team.
- Assist with efficient running of the depot.
- Liaise with other departments ensuring strong communication is always kept.
- Work alongside operational team to ensure PVR is always met
- Diagnose faults using various diagnostic tools including TEXA,Haldex etc.
- Fully comply with all HS&E legislation and group policies.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required of the Engineering Supervisor / Engineering Lead / Engineering Foreman:
Essential:
- NVQ level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in HGV / PSV Maintenance
- Full UK Driving licence
- Team Motivation Skills
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- PCV Licence – Desirable
