Job Title: Workshop Generator Engineer
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme
Schedule: Monday to Friday – Day Shift
Overtime: Paid at time and a half

Workshop Generator Engineer – Job Role:
- Service, maintain, and repair a range of diesel and petrol generators
- Diagnose faults and perform mechanical, electrical, and fuel system repairs in a workshop environment
- Conduct inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and compliant
- Prepare generators for hire or dispatch
- Accurately complete job cards, service records, and other relevant documentation
Workshop Generator Engineer – Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Maintenance, or equivalent (desirable)
- Previous experience working on generators or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of diesel engine and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
