Salary: £44818 + Overtime
Hours: 39 Hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Electrician to join a well-established and respected Bus Operator in Derbyshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a modern fleet, strong engineering team and plenty of overtime available.

The role of the HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Electrician

• Carrying out electrical diagnostics, repairs and fault finding on buses and coaches
  • Repairing and maintaining vehicle electrical systems
  • Diagnosing CANbus, multiplex and wiring faults
  • Working on lighting, CCTV, destination systems, charging systems and auxiliary equipment
  • Completing inspections and ensuring vehicles are maintained to DVSA standards

Requirements of the HGV Auto Electrician / PSV Electrician

• Previous experience as an HGV Auto Electrician or PSV Electrician
  • Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working on heavy vehicles, buses or coaches
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or Auto Electrical qualification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
