Job Title: HGV Technician

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped workshop, conducting servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of heavy goods vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements.
- Work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.
- Keep accurate records of all work completed.
- Collaborate with the workshop team and fleet managers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
