HGV Technician — Day Shift
Location: Slough
Salary: £49,140 – £57,330 per annum (45-hour week)
Schedule: Monday to Friday — Day Shifts
Hours: Workshop open 7:00am – 6:00pm (flexible start times, latest start 8:00am)

The Role We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy, modern workshop. You’ll be working on a well-maintained fleet of vehicles (no trucks older than 2020) carrying out servicing, inspections, and repairs in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI)
• MOT preparation and inspections
• Routine servicing and running repairs
• General workshop duties
• Minimal trailer work required

Vehicle Types

• 80% DAF trucks
• 20% Mercedes-Benz trucks
• Modern fleet — no vehicles older than 2020

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified HGV Technician or equivalent experience
