Location: Berkshire
Salary: £294 per day + Overtime
Shift:  4 on / 4 off | 11:00 – 22:00
 
The Role of the HGV Technician
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and professional engineering team maintaining a modern fleet of buses.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a structured, safety-focused environment where reliability and quality are key to keeping services running efficiently.
 
What You’ll Be Doing as HGV Technician

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on buses and coaches
• Attending to the daily driver reported defects
• Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repair
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
• Completing safety inspections and defect rectificatio
• Supporting the wider engineering team to meet operational targets

What We’re Looking For from the HGV Technician

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience working on HGV, PSV, or bus and coach vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A proactive and safety-first approach
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
