What You’ll Be Doing as HGV Technician

• Carrying out routine and breakdown maintenance on buses and coaches
• Performing diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Conducting MOT and PSV testing support (where applicable)
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards in line with company procedures
• Supporting workshop colleagues and contributing to a team-focused environment
• Keeping accurate maintenance records and completing compliance documentation

 
What you need to have as HGV Technician

• NVQ Level 3 HGV Technician or equivalent with experience in PSV / commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills, including brakes, engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
• Familiarity with vehicle safety standards, MOT, PSV regulations, and compliance paperwork
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
• Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent time management
