Monday to Friday – Day Shift
A well-established and growing Coach Operator is looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join their engineering team based in Hayes.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable Monday to Friday role working on a modern fleet of coaches within a professional workshop environment.
You will be working on a range of modern coach vehicles including Mercedes-Benz Tourismo, Volvo B11R, Scania Touring, Irizar,
 
The Role of the PSV Technician / HGV Technician

• Routine servicing and inspections
• MOT preparation and presentation
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Mechanical and electrical repairs
• Brake, suspension, and engine work
• Vehicle defect rectification
• Maintaining workshop health & safety standards
• Ensuring fleet compliance and vehicle availability

Requirements of the PSV Technician / HGV Technician

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / PSV Technician / Coach Technician
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working on coaches, buses, or HGVs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• IRTEC accreditation beneficial but not essential
• Full UK driving licence preferred
