Title: HGV Technician
Location: Heathrow / Membury
Salary: Up to £60,000 Basic Salary (DOE)
Hours: 42.5 Hours per Week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and growing workshop operation supporting a mixed commercial fleet across key logistics sites and major event operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a company involved in supporting high-profile events and venues including the The O2 and major UK festivals, offering a varied workload, excellent earning potential, and long-term stability.
Working Hours • Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:30pm
• 42.5-hour working week
• 1 in 2 / 1 in 4 weekend rota on 24/7 callout (rota frequency dependent on staffing levels)
• Callout support based around active job locations and local areas
Salary & Benefits • Up to £60,000 basic salary DOE

The Role As an HGV Technician, you’ll be workshop-based carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a varied fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational. You will also take part in a callout rota, attending breakdowns and urgent repairs when required.
Fleet includes:
• DAF, MAN and Mercedes vehicles
• HGVs
• LGVs
• LCVs
• Trailers
Responsibilities include: • Routine servicing and maintenance
• Mechanical and electrical repairs
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Attending breakdowns and callouts as part of the rota
• Supporting workshop operations across Heathrow and Membury sites
Requirements • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Class 1 or Class 2 licence preferred
• Previous experience working on HGVs/commercial vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a workshop environment and support callout operations when required
