Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £23.76 per hour / £59,304.96 per annum
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm – 6:00am

HGV Technician – Workshop Based Are you an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter looking for a well-paid permanent night shift?

We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Hemel Hempstead, working on a range of HGVs and HGV trailers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician looking for a consistent Monday to Thursday night shift, a strong hourly rate and a 48-hour working week.

The Role As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
• Working on HGV trailers
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Working safely and efficiently within the workshop

The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
• Experience working on HGVs and/or trailers
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• A professional and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work independently during night shifts

Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or IMI Heavy Vehicle Maintenance are desirable, although experienced, time-served technicians will also be considered.
