Job Role: HGV Workshop Supervisor
Location: Bedford
Pay: £53,000 per annum
Type: Full Time

HGV Workshop Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise the workshop team, ensuring maintenance and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
• Plan daily workloads, allocate jobs and monitor workshop performance.
• Maintain vehicle safety, reliability and presentation in line with DVSA requirements.
• Coordinate parts procurement, stock control and workshop equipment maintenance.
• Support and develop technicians and apprentices, promoting high standards and continuous improvement.

HGV Workshop Supervisor Requirements:

• Relevant engineering experience within HGV, bus, coach, plant or automotive maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills, with supervisory experience or readiness to take the next step.
• A hands-on approach to maintenance, repairs and workshop operations.
• Ability to plan workloads, allocate resources and manage stock.
• Understanding of vehicle compliance and workshop health and safety.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, vehicle reliability and team development.
