HR Assistant – Hybrid (North/Central regions) – FTC
Location: Hybrid – North/Central Regions – with travel as and when required
Salary: £37,000-£40,0000
Hours: Full-time
You will need a CIPD Level 5 minimum
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an HR Assistant to join our Head Office team.
Working closely with the wider HR team, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the dealer network. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a busy, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes, ensuring company procedures are followed correctly.
- Support managers with performance and conduct matters.
- Take accurate and comprehensive meeting notes during HR meetings.
- Monitor probation periods and support managers with extensions and confirmations.
- Assist with managing short and long-term sickness absence.
- Support the HR team with appraisals, performance management and employee development.
- Help identify training and development needs across the business.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Advisor to ensure vacancies are filled promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
About YouWe are looking for someone with 1-2 years’ experience in an HR role, ideally with previous HR advisory experience.
You will also have:
- CIPD qualification Level 5.
- A good understanding of HR processes and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The confidence to work with managers and employees at all levels.
- A professional and approachable manner.
- Good attention to detail.
- Experience dealing with absence, performance, disciplinary or grievance matters would be beneficial.
