Internal Recruiter – Stoke on trent – £40,000 basic Salary – Main dealership

Our client is looking for a proactive Internal Recruiter to join their team and manage the full recruitment process. This includes sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every candidate.

Role – Internal Recruiter 
Location – Stoke on trent
Salary – £40,000 Basic Salary 

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all business areas using job boards, social media, events, and referrals.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline from initial application to offer and onboarding.
  • Review applications and CVs, conduct phone/video screenings, and shortlist candidates for hiring managers.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews efficiently.
  • Assist with offers, negotiations, and pre-employment checks.
  • Maintain professional communication with hiring managers, providing updates and guidance.
  • Track recruitment metrics using Team Tailor and suggest improvements.
  • Support the Holdcroft Academy Apprentice programme with training partners.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Internal Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or similar role (automotive sector experience is a bonus).
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment techniques and sourcing methods.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Team Tailor is advantageous.
  • A team player willing to support colleagues as needed.
