Mobile Generator Engineer

Role: Mobile Generator Technical Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton 
Job type: Monday – Friday – Days
Salary: £40,000-  £45,000 + Company Car

Holt Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable Generator Technical Engineer to service, maintain, and repair generator systems,
both in the workshop and on-site, while also supporting engineers over the phone with fault finding and technical advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair diesel and petrol generators
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Attend breakdowns when required
• Provide technical support to engineers over the phone
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements

• Experience working with generators or plant equipment
• Strong fault-finding skills (mechanical & electrical)
• Full UK driving licence
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Engineering qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds)
• Experience with generators
