Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Our client, a well-established and reputable commercial vehicle operation, is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic to join their team in Andover.

As a Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs to HGV trailers at customer sites and roadside locations
• Diagnosing faults efficiently and carrying out repairs in a safe and timely manner
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with manufacturer procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Inspecting trailers and identifying any additional defects or repair requirements
• Completing all job cards and paperwork accurately
• Liaising with the workshop controller or service team regarding job progress and parts required

To be successful in this role as a Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic, you should have:

• Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic / HGV Trailer Technician / HGV Trailer Fitter is essential
• Strong knowledge of trailer servicing, maintenance, and repair
• Must have own tools
• Be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Class 1 or 2 licence desirable
• Ability to work independently in a mobile role
