Mobile Plant Fitter – Midlands
£32,000 + Overtime + Van + Pension
Permanent | Monday–Friday

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established plant and tool hire business operating across the Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable, long-term role within a relaxed and supportive working environment.

The Role You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of plant equipment both in the depot and on customer sites across the Midlands.

Equipment Includes

• Excavators (1t – 5t)
• Dumpers
• Rollers
• Telehandlers (6m – 17m)
• Small plant & hire equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Plant Engineer
• Essential: Experience working on modern JCB Telehandlers
• Strong knowledge of Tier 4 & Tier 5 engines
• Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)
• Good communication skills
• Team player with flexible attitude

Package

• £32,000 basic salary
• Overtime available:
  • Weekdays: Time + ¼
  • Saturdays: Time + ½
• Company van (private use permitted)
• Company pension
• Monday–Friday working hours (8am – 5pm)
• Stable, long-term role

This position would suit an experienced engineer looking to move away from national hire companies or heavily regulated contractor environments into a more relaxed and supportive setting.
