Mobile Tail Lift Engineer – Bristol Area
£38,500 + Company Van + Fuel Card + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mobile Tail Lift Engineer to join our team, providing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of tail lift systems across the Bristol region. This is a field-based role where you’ll be working independently, supported by a friendly and professional technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing and repairs to tail lifts, shutters, and associated equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete corrective repairs on-site.
- Provide emergency breakdown support and scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain accurate job and service records using a mobile device.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working with tail lifts (e.g., Dhollandia, Ratcliff, Zepro, DEL).
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with customers.
Desirable:
- LOLER certification or tail lift weight testing experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle shutter doors and ancillary equipment.
