Mobile Vehicle Technician – Avonmouth
Salary: £38,000 Basic + £42,000 OTE
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
About the Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team in Avonmouth. This role offers a competitive salary with excellent on-target earnings (OTE) and a Monday-to-Friday schedule, giving you work-life balance while working on a variety of vehicles in diverse locations.
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs at customer locations. With a fully equipped service van, you’ll enjoy the independence of working on the road while being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Perform diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service while working at client sites or roadside locations.
- Ensure all work is compliant with health and safety regulations and DVSA standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all work completed, using provided systems and tools.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repairs and providing expert advice where needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic (mobile experience preferred but not essential).
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on a range of vehicles.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing your own workload efficiently.
