Parts Advisor – Relocation Package Available – Salary Dependent on Experience

Role – Parts Advisor 
Location – Jersey 
Salary – DOE 

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy Parts Department.
A relocation package is available for the successful candidate.

Key role and responsibilities for this Parts Advisor role:

• Satisfying all internal and external customer orders and requirements
• Providing accurate and speedy service to all customers
• Ensuring all customer orders are dealt with promptly and courteously
• Checking parts against delivery notes and ensuring they are correctly binned and located
• Delivering customer orders accurately and courteously
• Completing accurate stock checks and maintaining stock control
• Maintaining clean, up-to-date and priced displays within the Parts Department and showroom
• Ensuring old units are correctly prepared and returned to manufacturers
• Maintaining a surcharge ledger
• Attending training courses when required
• Ensuring company procedures for handling cash, cheques and accounts are followed
• Reporting any stock damage or losses to the Manager
• Keeping the EPC system up to date with all current information
• Assisting with stock checks when required
• Packing and loading parts correctly and assisting with despatch matters
• Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the dealership

Minimum requirements for this Parts Advisor role:

• Previous experience working within an automotive Parts Department
• Good knowledge of Parts Department procedures
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of stock control and parts handling
• A professional and customer-focused approach
