Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Woking
Salary: Up to £65,000+ per year (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead the day-to-day running of plant operations, including workshops, servicing, and equipment management. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and take charge of a busy, hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workshop teams including fitters, welders, and engineers
- Oversee servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance for plant and machinery
- Ensure daily checks, inspections, and safety standards are followed
- Recruit and support plant operators and drivers as needed
- Arrange external plant hire when required
- Motivate and lead your team to meet performance goals
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of mobile and fixed plant equipment
- Good leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Full right to work in the UK
