Job Title: PSV Technician
Location: Durham
Salary: £43,290 – £46,800 per year
Monday to Friday days
We are seeking an experienced PSV Technician to join our team in Durham . If you have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and are passionate about working on passenger service vehicles, this is the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on passenger service vehicles (PSVs).
- Diagnose and repair faults across a range of systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and air conditioning.
- Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out, parts used, and time spent.
- Carry out MOT preparation and ensure all vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards.
- Work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure the fleet remains operational.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a PSV Technician or in a similar role working with buses, coaches, or large vehicles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle maintenance, such as an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (preferably with a D category).
