Job Title: Quarry Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Quarry Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy site. This leadership role requires strong operational skills, a proactive approach to health and safety, and the ability to manage teams and production effectively.
Ideal for someone with a background in quarrying or similar heavy industries, this position offers long-term growth within a supportive business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee site operations, ensuring productivity, compliance, and safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and regulatory submissions
- Monitor and manage plant maintenance and report any issues promptly
- Track stock levels and contribute to operational improvements
- Carry out regular site inspections and support audits
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed
- Lead and motivate operational teams, ensuring all staff are trained and competent
- Liaise with relevant authorities and ensure ongoing compliance
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Quarry Manager or similar operational role
- Good understanding of site safety and compliance procedures
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
