Job Title: Recovery Driver (Class 1) – Bridgend
Location: Bridgend
Salary: Up to £14 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recovery Driver with a Class 1 licence to join our team in Bridgend. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting vehicle recovery operations and performing additional yardman duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe and efficient recovery of vehicles.
MOT running – ensuring vehicles are transported to and from MOTs as required.
Yardman duties, including vehicle organisation, general yard maintenance, and assisting with vehicle movements on-site.
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues.
Adhering to safety standards and road regulations.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 HGV Licence.
Previous experience as a Recovery Driver or similar is preferred.
Strong awareness of vehicle safety and road regulations.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
Good communication skills.
