We are seeking a Service Advisor with experience in Mercedes-Benz service operations to join our team in Basingstoke. As a vital link between our customers and the workshop, you will deliver exceptional customer service while coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
- Schedule and manage service and repair appointments, ensuring efficient workshop workflow.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain work required, costs, and timescales.
- Liaise with the workshop team to provide accurate updates on vehicle progress and completion times.
- Upsell additional services and maintenance plans based on customer needs and vehicle requirements.
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints effectively and professionally.
- Process job cards, invoices, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Mercedes-Benz standards and procedures in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, with Mercedes-Benz experience essential.
- Strong knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products, systems, and service standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using dealership management systems and basic IT tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive, proactive approach with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
