Our client is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee a busy service department in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with a strong background in automotive aftersales who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, driving workshop performance, and developing a high-performing team.

🚘 The Role As Service Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maximising workshop efficiency, and delivering strong financial results.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the service department and workshop
• Lead, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, and Technicians
• Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction levels
• Monitor departmental performance and achieve key business objectives
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and operational procedures
• Support continuous improvement across the aftersales department

🧰 What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Service Manager within the automotive industry
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a successful aftersales team
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on performance and profitability
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience managing workshop performance and departmental KPIs
• Full UK Driving Licence
