Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Bishop’s Stortford Salary: Up to £55,480 OTE
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (Saturday mornings on rota)
Contract: Permanent

About the Role We’re recruiting skilled Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join a busy workshop in Bishop’s Stortford. You’ll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and MOT testing using the latest tools and technology, supported by an experienced management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
• Complete warranty work and documentation to manufacturer standards
• Carry out MOT tests (certificate essential)
• Conduct road tests to confirm work is completed correctly
• Maintain accurate service and repair records

What You’ll Need

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work
• EV or hybrid training desirable but not essential
