Vehicle Technician – Peterborough
Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours per week)
Shifts: 7:00am – 4:30pm OR 8:00am – 5:30pm

We are working with a highly reputable, international commercial vehicle leasing and hire company who are looking to add an experienced Vehicle Technician to their growing team in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business known for its strong reputation, modern fleet, and commitment to high standards of vehicle maintenance and customer service.

The Role: As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they remain roadworthy, compliant, and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vehicles
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
• Complete safety inspections and ensure compliance with DVSA standards
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out
• Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Full UK driving licence
