Vehicle Technician – Glasgow – £36,500 – Main Dealership

Salary: up to £36,500 basic with an OTE of £43,000 

Working Hours:
42.5 hours per week
Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday – Friday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their growing aftersales team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong servicing and diagnostic skills who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and professional workshop environment. Whether you currently work in a franchised dealership or an independent garage, this role offers excellent training, career development, and earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults efficiently and accurately
• Complete visual health checks on vehicles
• Ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations
• Work effectively as part of a busy workshop team

What they are Looking For:

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
• MOT Licence preferred but not essential
• Minimum 3 years’ workshop experience
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
