We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy and successful workshop in Rayleigh. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a professional aftersales team, utilise the latest diagnostic equipment, and develop your technical expertise while earning a competitive salary and bonus package.
To support your transition, we guarantee a minimum earnings package of £40,000 per annum (£3,333.33 per month gross) during your first three months. If you exceed this, you’ll earn even more.

Key Responsibilities

As a Vehicle Technician, you will:

  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Complete vehicle health checks accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, correctly and on time
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Keep technical knowledge up to date through training and development
  • Adhere to all workshop, quality and health & safety procedures

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience within a franchised dealership environment (preferred but not essential)
