Job Title – Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Salary – OTE up to £47,000
Our client is a well known dealership group in Newcastle, and they are looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics – Service Technicians – Diagnostic Technicians – Master technicians to join a busy service department offering excellent basic salary depending on the role/qualifications and a very good bonus structure.
Key responsibilities for this Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role are:
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs to a high standard, following manufacturer guidelines and schedules.
- Accurately document diagnostics, completed work, and parts used as per group and manufacturer standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Minimum requirements for this Vehicle Technician / Mechanic role are:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
- Have at least 2 years’ experience after qualifying period, of working in a Dealership as a Technician (or similar)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have a Driving License
