Workshop Manager – Wigan – £45,000 – £50,000 – Main Dealership

Job Title – Workshop Manager
Salary – £45,000 – £50,000 basic with an OTE of £55,000 + company car
Location – Wigan

Our client in Wigan has an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Manager to join their busy and high-performing workshop.

Workshop Controller Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficiency and utilisation of technicians within the workshop
• Ensure the effective distribution of job cards and workflow management
• Complete all related administration accurately and to a high standard
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all job card write-ups and job completion status on the DMS
• Pass all completed jobs to service costing, warranty, and administration teams for invoicing, ensuring all labour hours are correctly recorded
• Operate the workshop loading system, allocating jobs based on technician skillset and availability
• Identify upselling opportunities and contribute to both personal and departmental targets

Minimum Requirements as a Workshop Controller in Wigan:

• A professional and customer-focused individual with excellent communication and leadership skills
• A strong desire to build a long-term career within a well-respected dealer group and globally recognised brand
• Previous experience as a Workshop Controller within a main dealer service department
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards of service delivery
