Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25000 – £35000
A family-owned business with 20 years of growth, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our Bristol workshop. Help us ensure our customers’ vehicles are safe and reliable.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify faults.
- Carry out servicing and repairs on various car makes and models.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Conduct MOT testing if applicable.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers.
- Complete paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
- Ensure pre-delivery inspections are completed.
- Manage tasks and meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair, or equivalent experience.
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Own a stocked toolbox.
- Effective communication skills with customers.
- MOT (IMI accredited) qualification is advantageous and commands a higher salary.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload.
- Good physical fitness for the demands of the role.
