Job Title – Assistant Engineering Manager
Salary – £42,000 – £47,000 per annum
Shift – Monday to Friday
Location – Redcar
I am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator in the Redcar area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Assistant Engineering Manager.
Requirements for Assistant Engineering Manager:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Manager is essential
- Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Car driving licence is essential, PSV licence is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective team management skills
Assistant Engineering Manager Duties:
- Deliver high standards of customer service
- Oversee the day to day running of the workshop
- Assist with the training of apprentices as well as new and existing members of staff
- Oversee preventative maintenance
- Ensure Health & Safety is being adhered to at all times
