Job Title: HGV Workshop Controller
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £22 per hour (£51,480 per year)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

The Role As a Workshop Controller, you will oversee the daily operations of our busy HGV workshop, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and exceptional service. This unproductive, off-the-tools position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who is ready to take on a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop.
- Manage and monitor workflow, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Liaise with the wider team, including service advisors and parts departments.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to workshop staff.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
About You To excel in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a HGV Technician in the fleet industry.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience (preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of work and customer service.
