Mobile Generator Engineer
Location: Southeast England
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Basic + Overtime
Holt Recruitment is proud to be representing our client, a market leader in the power engineering sector, in their search for a skilled Field Service Engineer (Generators) to join their team covering the Southeast region.
This role is perfect for a driven and experienced engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently in a dynamic field environment.
The Role:
- Diagnose and repair a range of diesel generators, including large 2MW in-situ units.
- Perform routine maintenance and remedial work on a variety of generator systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, fuel, and control system issues.
- Build strong working relationships with clients while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures during all repairs and inspections.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing large diesel generators.
- Skilled in both electrical and mechanical aspects of generator systems.
- Competent in working independently to diagnose and resolve faults.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer awareness.
- Full UK driving licence and proficiency with MS Office tools.
