Parts Advisor

Holt Recruitment, on behalf of a well-established client in the agricultural industry, is seeking a Parts Advisor to join their busy team at a depot in Tingewick. This opportunity is with a renowned family business operating for generations, dedicated to delivering exceptional products and customer service across the Southeast of England and the Midlands. Supporting a range of high-quality agricultural machinery, this role offers the chance to become an integral part of their continued success.

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring parts are efficiently ordered and dispatched to customers and engineers. You’ll also support the retail shop and promote its offerings in the local area. This role supports an impressive range of equipment from leading manufacturers in agricultural and groundcare machinery.

  • Competitive salary: £25K – £32K, flexible depending on experience, paid hourly rate basis.

Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM & Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Overtime available: Saturday (time and a half), Sunday (double time), and bank holidays (double time + day in lieu).
  • Some Saturday mornings required on a rota basis and extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Serve customers both in-person and over the phone.
  • Identify and supply parts using parts books and online systems.
  • Promote the retail shop locally to drive engagement.
  • Conduct stocktaking and maintain high stock efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong customer service experience (essential).
  • Prior experience in a parts environment, preferably within agriculture or the automotive sector.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with other systems is a plus.
