Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to meet strict safety and performance standards.
- Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to address issues efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and report major defects.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally with buses or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Relevant technical qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
