Service Manager
Holt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Service Manager to join a well-established, family-run agricultural dealership in Tingewick. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a reputable business known for its strong customer relationships and high-quality service.
Package: Salary £Competitive DOE + Bonus + Company Vehicle
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings during busy periods
As a Service Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers, ensuring efficient operations.
- Coordinate with other departments to guarantee parts availability and streamline time management.
- Oversee callouts and ensure that all customers receive exceptional service.
- Manage the overall performance of the service team and workshop.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
- Keep Work in Progress (WIP) at manageable levels in line with company policies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Service Manager in the agricultural sector (or a relevant industry), or an experienced Engineer looking to take the next step into management.
- Strong knowledge of machinery and an understanding of the seasonal pressures affecting both customers and the business.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with engineers and customers alike.
- A track record of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
