About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Van Technician to join our team in Taunton. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a competitive salary of £39,500 per annum. Working Monday to Friday with straight daytime shifts, this position provides an excellent work-life balance in a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of light commercial vehicles (vans).
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and provide effective solutions.
- Conduct pre-MOT checks and preparation.
- Complete inspections in line with industry standards, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all work carried out.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Van Technician or similar role in the automotive industry.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of efficiency and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving license (essential).
