Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in Barnstaple. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking for a Monday to Friday, daytime role with a competitive salary and performance-based bonus. You will be working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting using the latest diagnostic tools.
- Complete MOT preparation and inspections (if qualified).
- Carry out maintenance work in line with manufacturer standards and company procedures.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet workshop targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Technician (NVQ, IMI, or equivalent).
- Experience working within a dealership, fleet, or independent garage environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential).
- A proactive and team-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
