Job Title: Vehicle Technician
Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £42,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team in Birmingham. This role involves servicing, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of vehicles while ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
- Conduct inspections and identify issues to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including parts used and time spent
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures to deliver high-quality service
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines while upholding health and safety standards
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a dealership or independent garage
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
